I remember back in the early 80's, the best spot was Pike, between 1st and 2nd, on the South side of Pike. Every night, rain or shine, there was 20-50 girls grouped in that one block area. It was kind of amazing, actually, all sizes, colors, ethnicities, all vying for your attention. I have no idea what Aurora Ave North of Seattle was like then, the few times I was up there after dark I didn't see a lot of action. I know International Blvd around the airport hotels, and the strip club that was just North of 180th was pretty busy in that era also, but it was also the Green River Killer era. I always like Pike the best in those days! But you always had to get the attention of the lady you were interested in, a bit of a challenge sometimes.
