Yea I should have done that. The transaction was through cashapp. What I just learned is that if my bank reverses the pending transaction from cashapp, cashapp will then pull the funds from that person's account and will show a negative amount on that person's bank account. I made sure to get up early today and have already made a claim and my bank has already began the process of reversing the transaction. Good thing. I wonder how big of a smile that person has now that their account is negative.

Just tell them your card got stolen and you do not recognize the transaction that you're seeing. Once you're bank adds credit to your account they'll go after square cash which in turns force square cash to pull the money back from that particular individual due to the lack of funds.

You're not wrong, at least in my opinion. As a self-confessed liberal / progressive, I believe that decriminalization is the road forward. But I do believe in regulation, in order to ensure there is no coercion. But taxes need to be levied to to enforce the regulation. Safety isn't free!

Glad you are getting your money back. Just out of curiosity, what reason did you give cashapp for reversal. Also is there a payment reversal fee? Fingers crossed until you get your money safely deposited in your account again. Really glad you got back at the stupid ****.
