Good points Michael. Well put, that is exactly correct. Another twist to this tale is that most SPs I have spoken to. At least the ones that are better educated and have a decent head on their shoulders who realize this is window of time when they get to make tax-free money and the party will not last forever. The competition will be SO strong, that their prices will need to take a dip. Hence most the smarter ones, keep using the word decriminalize. I. e. Let me have my cake and eat it too. Keep it as illegal and allow me charge ridiculous rates while still making it non-criminal if I get busted I. E. It will be a civil infraction rather than a criminal case. Smart. Personally every time I hear that shit from an SP, . I take another long draw from my ciggy and tell them I am done taking baby steps and we should just work like a European country and legalize this shit. Then I roll over and fuck her again. Don't discount that federal is not taking action. Just because local pd is involved doesn't mean other actors are not. It could also just be your average scammer wanting gift cards, or prepayment, etc. Be safe out there!
