I've been an expat for over ten years and only return to the US with the very greatest reluctance when I absolutely have to for business. In fact we refer to the land of my birth as sex prison. As to "Everyone outside the USA wants to live here" that also is way wide of the mark. A lot of people do that's the truth but there are over 7 billion people on the planet that don't live in the USA and the majority of them think that it's full of gun toting religious nuts who shoot up shopping malls and blow up federal buildings.

Seriously the vast majority would like to come and go to Disneyland but very few of them want to live there. Rio kinda sucks and I don't know Kiev, but Sao Paulo is fucking awesome and BKK is without question one of my favorite places on the planet. Nearly everything about it is better than living in the states. Better food, nicer people, better and far more affordable healthcare, cheaper cost of living, more stuff to do. Much less intrusive government (and they are a military dictatorship) less crime. I could list shit all day that's better in Thailand than the USA.

You guys really need to travel more.

Plus she had strict parents from there and I'm sure they wanted her to marry someone else that is Bulgarian too and not asian. And not about 15 years older than her too.

Difference either way I will post, but I can tell you what you've seen in the news will mostly be the same in vegans Plexi Glass some casinos will let the dealers wear face shields some will not. Every other slot machine will be turned off some will have plexi glass some will not. Buffets probably won't be back.

I been in Vegas 8 years and I think the Wynn is the only property I never stepped inside of but if I get a chance when they reopen I will check it out!

Even close this is the hottest market I've seen here in Vegas I been here 7 years these are great times. As always though the casinos do have their slow periods duribg the year but their ramping up hiring right now getting ready for March Madness its going to be packed for the next month.

P.S. It has nothing to do with Trump its the Raiders, Knights etc etc.

I'm headed to Vegas in 8 days. My hotel just knocked 40 percent off of my rate, and I thought I was getting a good deal before. My question for the locals or anyone currently there is: are things noticeably less busy? Not just the stuff we discuss on this forum, but also restaurants, casinos, hotels, shows, etc. I can't find any news stories about how much of a drop off there has been, but I can imagine that the airlines and hotels don't want to comment to prevent more hysteria. BTW, I'm not thinking about canceling my trip, just curious about what to expect.
