As I skim through ads I never really paid attention to the references to money or cash. But now that you mention it, it is a really keen observation and one I would support as truth. She has had several lackluster reviews operating hobbyists like a revolving door including ones that stated that her original ad pictures were not her. Looking through her reviews it seems like none of those reviews even exist anymore. Hear, hear! It's the guys that pay deposits that cause this. It feeds GPS and raises other false expectations. Some providers would require that we jump off a tall building, and some mongers, I suspect, would be lining up to jump.

I've enjoyed superior service for many years--and some lackluster service--without ever paying a deposit. My deposit is the travel time and other work involved, to say nothing of the risks. That's quite enough expense before we even meet. But I must say that she looks delicious!

It's an absolute deal-breaker. Any provider asking for a deposit is likely a scammer or at least too risky. Whenever I see and ad asking for a pre appointment deposit or full payment I always wonder how many mongers are gullible enough to fall for it.

I would agree to that. Someone else posted a poor review and she started yelling at me over text today. Told her it wasn't me and she just went off on me. So it definitely seems like her reviews are fake.
