Been chatting with her for a while on site and text. Agreed to 400. Last evening, I confirmed a meet for this afternoon. This morning at around 11 asks for my pic again and then tells me that she cannot meet as something came up with her family. She could have said that she changed her mind before I booked the hotel. It's the second time this has happened to me. But with a different girl.

How do you guys avoid wasting money on a hotel in case of no shows? May be I should book a hotel at the last second. Like when she is waiting in the lobby.

Booking the hotel room should be one of the very last things you check off on your checklist. The exception is if you expect hotels to be sold out.
