You're over 70. Have a heart condition. You're part of the 99% of all who contract China Virus something bad happens to and you want the remaining 1% to lockdown quarantine for your benefit.

Fuck you, you selfish, greasy, fear mongering prick of an old man. Do you find that a better, more eloquent adjective usage?

It won't overwhelm the healthcare system.

If you don't believe "all the experts" could be off exponentially in their predictions.

Then, well I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

But life has to go on, the virus will be here or it won't,but we just can't hide in our homes forever.

So far it hasn't been enough to just flatten the curve.

If you go back and watch, it's never enough.

Stevie wonder can see what all the blue state govs, Nancy and her crew, and most all the cdc nih people ie gov bureaucracy, are doing.

No. The virus wasn't concocted for political purposes, but if you don't think they are taking advantage of it, for political purposes then they are blind.

    Intelligent

I'm very impressed by how smart this virus is. It won't infect you at a liquid store, Lowes or Home Depot. Wal-Mart, Target, Costco, Sam's Club or Whole foods. It does seek you out in church, nail & Hair salons. Bowling alleys any restaurant other than Waffle House and any mall. I'm not sure we are going to be able to outsmart such a clever virus.

The difference is, John, that the group thinkers have been very successful with their propaganda and outright lies that the virus is a death sentence for EVERYBODY, young, old, weak, strong, health-compromised or healthy as a horse. The mortality rate for the virus is 100%, or at least it is according to their poisonous innuendos. The fact that it is quite the opposite, that at least 98% who test positive will actually LIVE, but they don't want anyone to believe that, even though it is true, because it suits their agenda of control and manipulation. Yes, a very high percentage of the elderly with pre-existing health conditions or other comorbidities will die if they come down with it, and that is certainly bad enough, but the group thinkers will have none of that. Every body die, according to them, and because too many weak-minded people believe their lies then you have this unprecedented situation where your country is withering away before your eyes. The group thinkers allow no other thought other than their own demand of societal suffocation. It's not their way or the highway, theirs IS the highway and you had damn well stay on their highway or else they will savage you into compliance. The idea that we could have protected the most vulnerable AND kept a stable economy is completely lost on them. I'll leave it up to you to figure out why. As for me, I have had enough of fighting their madness for the time being. But, tomorrow is another day.

A person can't live their life in fear or else what's the point of living? I've heard celebrity after celebrity contracting the virus with little to no affects. Data from California has shown that the actual cases in the US of people who have contracted the virus is at least 8 times more than the people who have been tested and confirmed for having the virus. The actual death rate is far lower than what is being pushed out in the media. There are so many ways to die. What is the old saying? A hundred million ways to die. Assaults, car accidents, stroke, heart attack, cancer, fall of a roof, another virus, etc. People die every day in a variety of ways. This virus does not scare me, personally. You can't fight fate. People believe they can but they would be wrong. That's why it's called fate. What does scare me is our current economic situation. Congress are talking now about a $3 trillion relief package. If that happens, that's $5 trillion spent by the federal government in less than 60 days. Damn!! Current deficit of more than $24 trillion. When does it end? Money doesn't grow on trees.

And since January, what's happened to the flu? All of a sudden, it just disappeared. Strange. As a nation, we have two choices. Keep it closed, which affects just about everyone negatively or open it up, which would affect a small amount of people negatively. If your argument is about saving lives, people will die in either scenario. Don't hold your breath for a vaccine. Not that one won't be discovered. It's just often times difficult and takes a long time. I feel that this was hyped up so much and so much damage has been done financially, politicians and experts can't reverse course since there would be shitstorm waiting for those people. Easier just to go with the flow and let the current situation take its course. Thoughts?
First, the purpose of the social distancing, was to stop the virus from spiraling out of control and overwhelm our medical systems. New York was literally on the verge of complete collapse for a few days there. And those initial estimates of fatalities. Guess what if we had lost 2 or 3% of our population, I guarantee our economy would be in a lot worse shape. Because when the news is filled with tens of thousands dying every day like we would of had, nobody is going to go to work, shop or travel. This was a controlled crash. Yeah its fucked up our economy for the next few years. But the alternative would of been a lot worse.

As for everyone (including me) posting data or articles sourcing GPH as a source. Well, stop it. Because apparently they have be fucking up the reporting and the numbers.

I never said keep everything shutdown. What I said is that opening everything up like its Mardi Gras is insanity. But your claims have of cases going down clearly does not match what the GPH, or even Florida's numbers. But you go on living in your dream world. Please go out, honestly the only way you will start realizing your world is a lie, is either when you are on a ventilator or you lose a loved one. But you do you.

Here is the Florida covid hospitalization chart. Tell me its going down.

Thank you. Common sense. You will be attacked, unfortunately, but what you are saying is the common sense truth. Too bad there are too many on this thread who cannot comprehend what you are trying to say to them. Thanks again for having the courage to say it, though.
