    My Two Cents

In my opinion, the best course of action is to open up everything and let nature take its course and yes that does include me. I feel confident that it won't affect me but if it does, so be it. A vast majority of people will be unaffected by this virus health wise. I think just about all of us have felt it financially. Some more than others. A person can't live their life in fear or else what's the point of living? I've heard celebrity after celebrity contracting the virus with little to no affects. Data from California has shown that the actual cases in the US of people who have contracted the virus is at least 8 times more than the people who have been tested and confirmed for having the virus. The actual death rate is far lower than what is being pushed out in the media. There are so many ways to die. What is the old saying? A hundred million ways to die. Assaults, car accidents, stroke, heart attack, cancer, fall of a roof, another virus, etc. People die every day in a variety of ways. This virus does not scare me, personally. You can't fight fate. People believe they can but they would be wrong. That's why it's called fate. What does scare me is our current economic situation. Congress are talking now about a $3 trillion relief package. If that happens, that's $5 trillion spent by the federal government in less than 60 days. Damn!! Current deficit of more than $24 trillion. When does it end? Money doesn't grow on trees.

And since January, what's happened to the flu? All of a sudden, it just disappeared. Strange. As a nation, we have two choices. Keep it closed, which affects just about everyone negatively or open it up, which would affect a small amount of people negatively. If your argument is about saving lives, people will die in either scenario. Don't hold your breath for a vaccine. Not that one won't be discovered. It's just often times difficult and takes a long time. I feel that this was hyped up so much and so much damage has been done financially, politicians and experts can't reverse course since there would be shitstorm waiting for those people. Easier just to go with the flow and let the current situation take its course. Thoughts?

Wonder if Kroger has had to deal with many crazies. We've all heard about the Target employee who got a broken arm.

    Put up or shut up

Since COVID-19 is a hoax and it's safe to go out, let's agree that those who want to go back to work, school, church, play, etc. Can do so. However, when they get sick, they have to self-treat. You don't get access to our emergency rooms, you don't get our medicines, you don't get to infect our doctors and nurses, you don't get a ventilator and you damn sure don't get it all for free at Grady.

Since it's all a hoax anyway, you should be happy to agree to this. Anyone who wants to re-open and go bowling and drinking and praying doesn't need to ask for help when they get sick anyway because it's just like the flu. Opening schools, churches, stores, etc. Isn't going to be that bad, so you should have no problem taking this gamble.

Let's set these rules, then let's see how many of FOX-watching rednecks would agree to them -- for themselves and their families. And when you get sick and bring it home to your families, they play by the same rules you're under.

You go back to normal -- you and your families are completely on your own.

    Any takers?

P.S. Kroger isn't a public business. It's privately owned. If a teenage girl who works there tells you that you need to wear shoes, can't smoke inside, no radios and you need to wear a mask, you don't get to shoot her or break her arm.

Why is draconian shutdown of our lives the ONLY solution for so many of you? You can label me a selfish putz all day if you like but nothing could be further from the truth. Here ya go you knucklehead. In the last 1 week new cases across the state have gone up over 100%. This is why we should not be reopening.

One reason. People are stupid. Just look at the numbers before we started shutting down, then during. You really don't have any common sense. Go out, have fun. If you do get the covid virus and need help, please stay at home. We don't need you spreading it.

CDC lost a month of testing because they fucked it up. The woman, Dr. Birx, who works w / them everyday said this to Redfield a few days ago, "There is nothing from the CDC that I can trust," she told CDC Director Robert Redfield.

Then of course you need to listen to the world's expert org on health, whose mission is to monitor and contain viral outbreaks, but the fucking WHO lied about no H2 H transmission when they knew there was. You'd think to listen to the country who released a novel bat virus onto the planet. They'd warn the planet of the fucking deadly bat virus. They wouldn't lie about it to save face and risk death and econ destruction onto the world. Would they?

Fucking experts are a dime a dozen.
First of all Birx is a political animal. There is a reason she works in the State Department and not HHS or CDC. She had the opportunity to stand up for the medical community, when Trump asked her about ingesting bleach and shoving a UV light into a human bodies. But instead she remained quiet.

As for the rest of the team. Dr. Fauci is the only recognized member that has street cred to back up his word. His work on HIV / AIDS in the 1980's led from it being a death sentence to a treatable condition. Fauci later led USA Government efforts to combat outbreaks of the West Nile virus, SARS and Ebola.

Re-opening was going to lead to more cases, hospitalizations and deaths. All knew that. Sweden, who took a much different approach, claims these infection and deaths were going to happen anyway. A mass quarantine only delayed the inevitable. Same group remain at risk. The elderly and the sick.

Infections / cases don't tell entire story. A positive test doesn't necessarily send you to the hospital and you have to look at total tests given. Quick math. Since April 24th re-open, Georgia has tested 160k. Had 12,500 positives and 1,900 hospitalizations.

Today Georgia will surpass 35,000 cases and 1,500 deaths, but so what? I'm not sick and I don't care about anyone else. I'll get serious about it when I get sick and will then complain about the lack of medical facilities caused by all those inconvenient sick people.

We have two choices -- get the disease under control in order to rebuild our society or let it rip and let the survivors figure things out.

Its really not that difficult a choice.

Yes night, I am quite happy to be a radical if it means telling the truth about what is going to happen to all of us if we continue this madness. What I have to say is of quite a bit of value, regardless of your snarky comment to contrary. I like your comment of fuel on the fire however since that is EXACTLY what I am doing and will continue to do to shake people out of being mindless sheep, following their fears around, chasing their tails as they are dictated to by the agenda pushing fear mongers who control them. We can end this "stupid shit", as you put it, but only by adopting the common sense approach which is protecting the most vulnerable among us while keeping our economy stable, a concept I have stated several times in my most recent posts if you had bothered to thoroughly read them which obviously you have not. Unfortunately we adopted the hair on fire approach, the throw a blanket over everything approach, the shut everything down approach as we completely ignored the fates of those whose livelihoods such malignant group think destroyed. Millions of those livelihoods are gone, never to come back, and all because we were either too fucking lazy or stupid to figure out a more reasonable solution or we hated Trump to the point of burning our own ship down in order to bring him down. Talk about stupid, now that's fucking stupid, night. But it's real. We have done just that and we will pay the unimaginable price for our myopic selfishness. Think of it this way: I am like the Ghost of Christmas Future, and our future is bleak, really really bleak because of what we have done to ourselves. You may not like it but that's just the way it is. It's a reality that I didn't want and don't want to see played out but we have too many people out there who still demand the burn down the ship approach. I would suggest you try to end their stupid shit way of thinking before you condemn mine, not that I care if you or others like you don't like what I say. I give you reality. It's not my fault or my problem if you and others can't handle it.
