Posts: 2168Uhm. You ever hear of something called a computer?? This is stuff being worked on by big tech companies to be able to track this. All your location data is already stored in the cloud

There's 75000 confirmed covid 19 cases in Mass and where not near done. Considering the incubation is 14 days Who the hell is tapping 75000 phones and searching for 2 weeks worth of travel? Seems like alot of work.

Posts: 2168May not be a question of honesty. They are going to try and tap into your phone's location history automatically to figure out where you have been.

Posts: 186What something's value is rises with inflation. Forty to fifty for an HJ is totally reasonable. Giv8 ng them a little extra for extra performance reasonable too and doesn't drive the price up.

When things "reopen" and you go to a massage parlor and then shortly there after come down with COVID-19, are you going to be honest with the contact tracers?

Posts: 924People pay what the service is worth to them. If its too much they don't pay. If its enough for them to stand they pay it. Why would I short change myself just because you don't have the resources? This is a luxury.

Candy posted in her Beech website that they will reopen soon. She seems to know something!

Posts: 261Not true st all. Its not a cost to make the goods. Its a service and something extra like that is only worth what someone is willing to pay. If people stopped paying x amount and refusing prices drop to what customers are willing to pay. Its not that hard to figure out.

Posts: 2168RI is in the first phase of reopening. They are not allowing close contact services like barbers and salons to open. (What I read did not mention massage but sure would fall under the same rules) MA would be the same with their initial easing if restrictions.

Sure they will open eventually, just later on. And yes, the government will require masks.

Posts: 1789For some reason I haven't been able to figure out, it seems to be forbidden to mention the address of this mysterious Oxford parlor. Doing some searching, the cryptic references seem to point to 6 Oxford Place in Boston. There is even an old ad that is still searchable.

It's in Chinatown, which the guys on this board abbreviate as CT. Coming from Connecticut, this took a little getting used to.

I can't see it happening. How can you stay 6 feet away when you are touching someone? Not to mention it hard to get bbbj with a mask on (lol)

Posts: 207Even 20 years ago, the going FS price in Boston and suburbs was 100 in addition to the house fee. 140 is just 40 more than it was 2 decades ago. It reflects the general inflation I guess.

Posts: 186We have had this conversation before: good tips are not driving up prices, normal inflation is driving up prices. It was like thirty bucks for an HJ in 2000 (twenty years ago). Now the standard is 40-50. It will probably be 60-80 in a few years. Think of any other service that hasn't had that kind of increase since 2000. When you pay a good tip, you do so not to get baseline service but for service above and beyond the standard (if you tip a girl twenty or thirty extra bucks on top of the money you already paid for an HJ, she treats you better). I don't have a lot of money, but when I go to an AMP, splurge.
