The trick for me was understanding that Oxford Place and Oxford Street are separate places both in CT. Ox Place connects between Kneeland and Oxford St, although you have to walk thru a little park to get to it from Oxford St. Really more an alley than a street.

For some reason I haven't been able to figure out, it seems to be forbidden to mention the address of this mysterious Oxford parlor. Doing some searching, the cryptic references seem to point to 6 Oxford Place in Boston. There is even an old ad that is still searchable.

If your Google e mail is on your phone you may already be tracked. Pull up maps and then timeline. It will show every place you go and by speed knows if your walking or driving. It is a default, you have to go in, turn that off and even then its never really off. Other countries with more lax laws just look for a cluster of positive tested people and go from that.

I think it has more to do with what percentage of a person's disposable income the tip represents. There's the famous hooker scene in Full Metal Jacket in which the hot Vietnamese girl offers "everyting you want" for 15 dollars. We'd jump on that in today's economy, but at the time period that was two or three day's pay. So of course they haggle. Prices will inevitably go up because money is worth less. Not like Victorian era two penny ****** would be the standard for all time, as much as that would be nice.

What something's value is rises with inflation. Forty to fifty for an HJ is totally reasonable. Giv8 ng them a little extra for extra performance reasonable too and doesn't drive the price up.

People pay what the service is worth to them. If its too much they don't pay. If its enough for them to stand they pay it. Why would I short change myself just because you don't have the resources? This is a luxury.

We have had this conversation before: good tips are not driving up prices, normal inflation is driving up prices. It was like thirty bucks for an HJ in 2000 (twenty years ago). Now the standard is 40-50. It will probably be 60-80 in a few years. Think of any other service that hasn't had that kind of increase since 2000. When you pay a good tip, you do so not to get baseline service but for service above and beyond the standard (if you tip a girl twenty or thirty extra bucks on top of the money you already paid for an HJ, she treats you better). I don't have a lot of money, but when I go to an AMP, splurge.
