If you remember, I was ghosted by Roxanne last Tuesday and backup Jen was dealing with sister drama. On Thursday I get a text from Roxanne apologizing for ghosting me and wanted me to reschedule. I think her ghosting does damage her credibility an the impetus for charging a deposit, but it doesn't invalidate the logic behind it. If wannabe mongers don't stop this fake scheduling shit, deposits will become the norm, and scammers will take us all. When that happens, we won't even be protected by seeing the well-reviewed, since all providers, even the well-reviewed, succumb to ghosting from time-to-time.
