I'm not an expert in infectious diseases by any means. But this doesn't make sense to me. If one person has the disease (presumably asymptomatic or you wouldn't meet at all) the only way you'd be somewhat safe is to adopt the same kind of safety measures you'd see in an isolation ward in a hospital. And in a hospital the safety measures are asymmetrical because you know who has the disease and who doesn't. If you don't know, you'd both have to be gowned up with mask and gloves, or better yet biohazard suits. Mutual masturbation might reduce the risk slightly, but I would think more like 95% to 90% or something not really significant.

You either decide to take a risk or you don't. I think social distancing works, if it does at all, in situations where the interaction is pretty casual and brief anyway.
