Question. I hobbied for about 5-6 yrs. Then I got married and moved away from the area and quit cold turkey for about 4 yrs. Moved back in the area about a yr ago and have dabbled with the SB scene but am just now in the past few weeks dipping my toe back in the Escort pool and I've noticed the landscape has changed a bit. I would try and get in touch with some Indy providers who are willing to accept newbies w / o references. From there you can try expanding out to some of the agencies that require references. I would also try the Asian crapshoots or Asian Indy providers and then maybe you can use them as references if you want to get in with the K agencies. This is how I got started. It's a slow process. I don't think you will get where you were overnight.
