Funny. I received something similar but not to the extreme of pictures such as you received. After the first threatening message, I replied with "LMFAO, good luck with that" and that was it. Never to be heard again. Did you use personal information? If so, they may try to tap into FB or make some attempts of blackmail. If you're married or have a partner, the minor aggravation could be something to consider If not, move along.
