Let me help you. This data is from the Italian Public Health ministry compiled from the cases they had.

In the age groups 10-40 the mortality rate of C-19 is. 02% that means out of every 100,000 people with confirmed cases in those age groups 20 will die.

Further the Italian medical authorities found that 99% of those that did die had pre-existing conditions, diabetes, obesity, asthma, heart disease, something like that. So that means that if we back that up to 90% (give it a margin of error) that of those 20 who died 2 of them wouldn't have had an underlying health risk.

To represent that graphically the picture attached is the new River Plate stadium in the city of Buenos Aires Argentina. It's "official capacity" is 70,000 but since we are a third world country they routinly pack more than that into it. The most people who have ever been here was a super classico between River and Boca Jr's at 102,000 people. That's all fine and good. I'm not disputing any of those numbers, nor have I ever said C-19 is a death sentence. The problem is that even with those low numbers of mortality, the health system still gets overwhelmed. It prevents people from getting the normal care they need and results in more death than just the virus.

Doesn't really depend on a hypothetical who might have it or who doesn't. It all comes down to numbers. If the case numbers drop to near zero in July then everything should re-open to normal.

The big question becomes what happens if there is a rebound wave, such as what's happening in China? If a few dozen cases start popping up in October, do we go into a national lock down again, or just aggressively shut down only those areas where cases are growing?

Saw a story on the CNN website talking about how shitty some of the antibody tests we have are: https://www.cnn.com/2020/04/14/healt...sts/index.html.

Seems the FDA relaxed its rules, allowing companies to get their antibody tests to the US at a faster rate. Only problem is, half of the crappy test kits are coming from where else? The country that started this pandemic in the first place: China!

And the real zinger is the news organizations and government are interchanging between antigen and antibody testing, implying they are the same. THEY ARE NOT the same. Antigen testing only shows you have been exposed to the virus and those antigens only exists in the body for 4 to 6 weeks. Antibodies are the immune system response to the virus, this proves you have immunity to whatever degree that maybe (remember influenza is the same family of virus as COVID and we have to get a shot every year). So is showing up are the antigen tests which aren't worth shit except to make people feel good until they get sick again because they fuck up and stopped social distancing. A reliable antibody testing is still a few months away, and even then they will only be probably 80% accurate initally if history is any indicator of previous antibody tests (took almost 2 years for a reliable SARS antibody test).
