Not to long ago, I know nowhere near 2 trillion, but didn't we just pay some private contractors like 5+ billions for a confetti wall, so unless they have up their financials for the world to see, out of the goodness of their hearts, we may never know where all that money go. Tis why FB remained a Super power for a while. The economy left to its own devices will bounce back, only problem is we should of had safety nets to cushion the fall that we are about to take. Thing is, I get the fact we are where we are, nothing we can do about it, however, I can not understand why are "certain" people kinda being sheep watching certain "news" networks, rather then thinking for themselves.

If we all knew about it in December and January on social media, that means for damn sure the government knew about it. Which is why that government official is in trouble for what Martha Stewart got sent to jail for LOL. Telling his buddies in January to make some lucrative deals. Which uncovered more officials pulling out stock around the same time.
One last Rant WHY ARE "certain" people targeting one of the lead sensible people on the Cororana case, who hasn't lied at ever corner. Lord this country is so twisted. Just plain ignorance rather target the person making sense out of the matter with death threats, then point their anger at the true source of this countries current predicament. Its not even an "what if" or "looking back", this was a common sense approach to deter the virus before it became an issue, which was wrote off as a ploy, bc people think nothing bad will ever happen from their choices not to act. Hell Even Today hoax or not the virus is real, why are these states governors so reluctant to act. Took a huge block party here for us to get on a more strict lockdown. Last week I kid you not saw restaurants packed with people. People were actually going out more, just to be defiant, and claim they know it all.

First, my reference to free money is regarding interest free loans. Will there be companies that take unnecessary capital at a cheap cost to make sure that they can weather the storm, hell yeah. If you had a team and business that you had built on your own blood, sweat, and money that could fail because of all of this and hurt dozens of families- I would hope that you would take whatever precautions you could to hedge against it. My accountant said that there are companies with over 200 employees, and they don't have the capital to cover payroll for two weeks. We can all judge from afar, but in the end, it's really about keeping our small businesses afloat through this.
Second, the alternative is a collapse that would require a lot more than $2 T in stimulus. Probably still will.

Nothing is free, we the people that get fucking ass raped by the IRS have to eventually backfill that hole. I think it is $17,200 to get $2,400. That bill will eventually come due with massive consequences.

Is there a lot of hype, yeah. Will there be hospitals, Urgent Care centers, and others that take advantage of the situation- yeah. Is this a virus that is really spreading and killing- yep!
For some of us small businesses, this isn't really a bad thing. We have multiple avenues to get funds at dirt cheap or for FREE right now- even if you don't need it. "Never let a good crisis go to waste. " - Winston Churchill.

That seems "trustworthy", I personally know three people that have this and one has been in the ICU in MN for over two weeks. I'm an extreme introvert and since I have three people in my extremely small circle I will stick with that this is bad. But, you go ahead.

I never followed politics as much as I do now. You have to get media from both sides and you will see where the bullshit is. Mainstream media is biased. Spend a few hours a week watching OAN and Fox News, especially Hanitty and then decide which side is crooked.

It was the context of the entire speech. He was going after the Democrats for politicizing the virus and they were saying that isn't the case. It's funny because that is exactly what they were and still are doing by loading the "stimulus" bill with crap and making speeches placing blame with no real solutions. Do I like Trump as a person? I'm not sure but I do like the fact he has torn through establishment politics like a fat man through a buffet.

Then the president, who often dismissed special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation as a hoax, continued, "They tried the impeachment hoax. That was on a perfect conversation. They tried anything. They tried it over and over. They'd been doing it since you got in. It's all turning. They lost. It's all turning. Think of it. Think of it. And this is their new hoax. ".

I didn't "call you out" I threw a flag and I didn't throw a flag for you calling out new members for asking questions prior to making contributions. I threw the flag simply because you "called somebody out" for anything on a review thread. "Calling people out" on review threads for any reason at all is against the TOS. Asking a question, regardless of how many time you have posted, is in no way a violation of the TOS. You, not the noob, were the one breaking the rules.

Those are your quotation marks not mine. What exactly is the this that he is referring to? In other words what exactly is the hoax?

"Now, the Democrats are politicising the coronavirus. This is their new hoax. ".
This isn't what he's saying now, this is what he said on February 28 so what exactly was the hoax?

Yes, many people are overly sensitive, and that's usually when it's best to keep an eye out on one's own triggers.

I agree that the Chinese government bears responsibility for making the problem worse. How the Chinese putative political system factors into their overall economic policy is more of an issue than I would want to try to tease apart here, but doesn't seem relevant to asian people in this country getting shit on.
I will ask, though: What does calling it the "Chinese Virus" benefit anyone? You can associate blame with the Chinese government simply by saying "the Chinese govt fucked up on their handling of Covid" without implicating the rest of 'them.
Again, I only care because it's my belief that how this is handled will adversely affect the health of people innocent of, well, anything. Even though this is the Woodshed, I'm keeping the flamethrower in its case.
