    Good idea when considering contact between the provider and yourself.     I think calling ahead would be super prudent these days; I usually call ahead anyways just to ensure my picks are in and working that day. But with the COVID-19 and general state of "safer at home" for all of California, I wouldn't be surprised if most shops close up until things get better.
