I don't feel like I want to low ball with a provider, for them to accept begrudgingly, and to have that effect how the session goes. There are plenty of providers that are in my price range, so I will move on to one of them.

But my point was (and still is) about asking for a discount. True, a car won't work differently based on the price one pays for it. But you'd be stupid not to try and negotiate a lower price, especially in these times. And not all providers will give you a bad session even after you ask for a discount.

Also, yes, low balling a provider is not wise. But my request was not really "low balling", per se. And yes, there is enough variety to go around.
