She reached out to me about a week ago, and her profile made me curious so we started corresponding (I live in metro-RVA, so I don't usually look further north than Ashland). She gave me her phone number pretty quickly, which let to some hot and heavy sexting. We had a very good connection (I thought). Yesterday I invited her down to RVA (business is slow. Go figure), and when she asked what she could expect I gave her my usual offer ($$, plus $ for the travel). She said she's been offered 6 $ to 1 k just for dinner, but she likes me so she'll "think about it. ".

Between what she shared with me and what I learned with some FB and Spokeo digging, here's some background: She's 44, not 34 as she claims on the site; she's a nail tech and business has fallen off dramatically since last week; she claims to have been out on several dates through SA but not gone further than fooling around (ie, kissing and BJ).

Back to the story: this morning I get a text from her saying "honestly what you offered is not worth my effort (not that I want to make this sound so transactional) but I make more (at my real job) in less amount of time I have to put in to come down and see you. I wrote back that now I understand: she's a high dollar *****. I offer that I'll be around when she changes her mind because she has no income in a month, but good luck until then.

That was 3 hours ago. Needless to say, she hasn't texted back.

In summary: 1) 44 years old.

2) Employment prospects looking shaky.

3) Thinks $$$ isn't worth her effort.

I think there will eventually be a bonanza, but in the short term I am seeing everything dry up. Even my regular SBs are scared to go out right now. I envision a lot of pent-up demand once things get back to normal, but until then I think SBs are going to be wary. Is anyone else also seeing this?

I'm actually seeing more SB lowering their rates many have accepted lower than their preferred. I have been using Hotels.com and my usual places to frequent have slashed prices $20-30 cheaper. Advantage SDs.

Before my little head makes disastrous decisions for me, my bigger head has intervened and decided to seek the forum members advice. I don't wish to bankrupt myself and therefore my questions are related to finances.

1) On an average, how much do you guys end up shelling out every month (average over the year).

2) Where do you meet up (your place, hers or hotel). This is for budgeting purpose.

3) Are seeking.com and secretbenefits.com membership worth the money? I have registered, but haven't paid for anything yet.

The answers to these questions will help me proceed or abandon the idea.

Any advice is also appreciated.

I found some reviews on TNA board in Seattle but they mention that she is a safety girl and does everything covered. Check the location, it's got her in Norway as of a few days ago (and let's be real, most folks don't go there for vacation).

I hung out with her about 18 months ago for a month or two. She's smart, super tight body, and has her own place in Arlington (along with a German Shepard that is super nice). She's a travel and adrenaline junky so I'm not surprised she's in Norway (current view shows her back in the US though).
