I've always found you to be a thoughtful and informative contributor. But to say the risk is the same as a supermarket is not reasonable. Yes, it is not always possible to maintain 6 feet of separation in the supermarket, and six feet is no guarantee. But the exposure is brief and therefore much lower risk. Any massage parlor visit involves prolonged close contact with someone who is also in prolonged close contact with numerous other people. The odds of transmission are much higher, even if she takes sanitary precautions. Whether she does or not is obviously up for debate.

Yes, we have always run the risks of STDs, but we knew what protections to take. There is a lot of question about how to protect yourself from this.

And the big difference is who you put at risk. With STDs, its just your sexual partners. Now, the biggest risk is to your older relatives: your parents, whatever older people there are in your life you care about.

Where did the 6 feet rule come from? There is NO science in it. It's speculation. And, if you have been to Shop Rite or Stop & Shop lately, watch what the families in there are doing. Watch what they are touching, especially in the produce section (and, frankly, everywhere).

I'm not an "it's just a flu" person. But this is not ebola either. If you are old and sick, this can mess you up. If you're younger or pretty healthy; not likely. But you may share it with someone who is sick.

Most of the precautions we are taking are sensible, but they are not scientific nor are they based in any solid evidence. Overall, the time and exposure we have in stores and in supermarkets make these places high risk. At least an AMP you can get a shower and they likely wash the surfaces. BUT, honestly, we are not at the point where this is going to go away. We don't have a vaccine. Exposure and, in time, human immunity (partial or complete) is going to have to happen.

But if COVID's going to get you, it will get you in the supermarket as easily as the AMP. But if you've been sticking you cock or your tongue or your fingers or your toes in working women for years and years, I think you can still rest easily at night after you get your rocks off at the AMP in the days of SARS-COV-2.

Whether they ever open again or not, I dunno. I am hopeful that they will as salons are on the front end of the phased openings. But then again, I have always had to travel for a good AMP.

We're asking how clean the AMPs will be when they reopen? The answer is simple. These are the same places that would turn the towel on the table over for the next customer, rather than be bothered to replace it with a fresh one. How clean do you think they'll be?

Said dude is one of the "nobody can tell me what to do" a-holes who has been everywhere without a mask or distance. He's carrying COVID but not symptomatic. He just spent an hour in a closed room with your provider, who is now also an asymptomatic carrier.

You are now exposed. Will you be the same and only infect others? Will you get hit but recover? Will you get intubated and either die or never fully recover? Or some combo of the three?

I was on a flight back to CT this week with quite a few kids that were hacking and coughing the whole time.

If I don't get sick (normal cold or worse) I will be very surprised.

I get that but, realistically, I walked to the grocery store this morning to buy some bagels and standing in line at the bakery counter then the checkout probably was 100 X the risk than going to my local AMP (which is always 100% spotless anyway) and interacting with that 1 woman who rarely goes anywhere.

+If I were smart I would not go near an AMP in the next month period. Risk factor outways hormones. I will be staying away from all activity weither it be AMPs or escorts for the next 3 weeks. Just the unknown makes me pause. I wish all you guys the best an hope you lower your risk like I am.
