Thanks for your recommendation on this restaurant. Will try it some day on the way in.

I like sea food and steak primarily, not much carbs or veggies. Like you I don't eat big meals until the end of the night. I usually start the night with a shrimp coctele at the school girls corner, tasty and light, good enough for drinking. After a few sessions with the girls I would order steaks with Azul's 2-4-1 coupon, or about $12 for 2 dinners and stay in HK. Azul's steaks are juicy and tender, served with any sorts of potatoes, grilled veggies, salsa, toast or tortilla. HK girls sometimes join us to devour the steaks. Or I would go to HK's taco stand for abodaba tacos, birrias and beef soup.

In the day time I would walk to El Chorofo near the cathedral or the restaurant row on the trinket alley near hotel Nelson for seafood. Tijuana is a very nice and entertaining place for a quick and cheap vacation with tasty food, entertaining bars and hot girls. I car pool with a few bros about once a week.

If I go there for breakfast I would recommend the Machacha Sonora. This is a scrambler type plate of Sun Dried shredded beef, pico, ranchera sauce and eggs. The scramblers come with house potatoes, refried beans and tortillas (flour or corn).

Price is similar to eating at Dennys.

Friday afternoon drove down with 2 other guys, one a brand new guy familiar with the massage scene in SoCal but never been to La Zona. There were accidents along 805 but traffics was OK with the car pool lanes and we made it to the border in about 1 hour and a half, driving over downtown TJ to get to HK in only 5 minutes with sunlight still out. Gave the car to valet parking, got vouchers for free drinks at the front desk and got in. The club was packed with beautiful girls and horny guys, drinking, flirting.

Drinking, smoking, enjoying the scene in HK a while, we went to the seafood cart at the school girl corner for shrimp coctele, arguably the best and freshest in all Mexico.
