I did a quick search of the phone number and found that as of March 8 she was in Billings, also in Providence. Not sure of the scam, but she isn't in Indianapolis.

Most of these Asian setups use a central phone system and work several cities at the same time. The phone number first goes to a "dispatcher ", then the contact is transferred to the girl's phone.

I tried to go Saturday morning when they were in Castleton. Went to the motel after contacting them, then they said she was at the bank! Said to wait but, after an hour, they stopped responding.

Tried again yesterday morning but they were switching motels. After noon, I finally got a chance. Went to the downtown motel and told her I was there. She asked me for a pic, then didn't respond for about 10 minutes. I asked what room to go to and she finally responded saying I should go to her floor and text her.

After everything else that was odd with this experience, I got too much of a bad feeling to go stand in the motel hallway waiting for her to slowly reply with the room number. I took off. Looking back, it doesn't make sense for it to have been LE, but who knows what else could have been going on.

Would love to hear that someone actually had success and could verify it's safe.
