#1 - book directly with front desk, not through OTA.

#2 - have a good story. You're driving back from sales trip, in car since 6 am, need to freshen up before lunch meeting. House being renovated, no utils, need to crash and get some work done.

Wants gas money upfront, first time around money for groceries and the pics provided are professional shots that don't really show the face. No selfie or normal pics. Been doing this for too long, don't get the right vibe. Which is why I was checking.
