I was on Hillborough Ave today and it looks to me that they are working on wrapping up the project.

That would be a good thing in time for Spring weather.

I noticed a few possible workers near the river on Nebraska today, but I skipped them.

I saw them, too.

One working most at the light just north of the bridge on the east side of Nebraska looked great in her jeans from behind (if you like skinny) but is butter face, heavily wrinkled and toothless from the front. She was tweaking, too.

Another is rotund. Saturnine. Big, fat, roly-poly bleached blonde.

There were two farther north between Busch and Linebaugh a worker with long, straight, white hair. She is one of the oldest workers I have ever seen.

A second sitting on the short wall of the old folks home just north of Annie (near Orchid?). Her posture was remarkable, so much so as to make one think that she had to have a rod surgically implanted in her back. Nothing wrong with that, except they are not as bendy as a more acrobatic worker. She is thin, appears friendly, and maybe in her forties. The gentleman sitting a few feet away from her on the same wall may be a resident of the old folks home.

I did not stop for them.

Last year, this stretch of pavement was great, this is where Lo and Heaven were hanging out, along with several others. Now it is totally devoid of talent. I think CiCi is still shacked up at the East Gate, but I haven't seen her in quite awhile. It isn't going to improve anytime soon with the construction there.

Slim pickings late this afternoon on Nebraska Avenue and nearby Hillsborough Avenue. It was a beautiful day and only a little cool outside.

Hillsborough from Nebraska almost to 15th Street is loaded with constructions and lane blockages. Vehicle traffic is thick and pedestrian traffic was nearly nothing.

Bad luck. Try another time.

Was in town for a few days, this was almost 2 weeks ago, most of the hotels were booked, so I ended up staying at a few of the dumpy joints on Busch. Drove up and down Nebraska a few times in the late evening then a few times in the day. Didn't really think much of this stroll, the few I seen were mostly in the day, late morning and they really looked rough, even from a distance. Noticed a BSW on a side street in a blond Kmart wig, had to be 250 LBS at least, spotted a few WSW's who looked old. Worn and strung out, just awful. Seemed to be a lot of LE at night, not surprising considering the area but there was hardly any action anywhere that I seen.

I did speak to a local of the area last week and he stated that TPD has stepped up arrests (no news there), but he did say that certain areas are somewhat safer. He did say that drugs is still an issue especially in his house, fellow tenants. He wants to move. With the Super Bowl coming, I can see by 2021, a) more SW for the not so rich SB fan (Tickets go around $3000 per seat), but the Casino will be packed porn stars and UTR hookers will be around, stay tuned.

I got confirmation from a person who was there and I'm sorry to report that it WAS the Stacy who used to hang in Nowatney. I'd known her for 8 years. She'll be sorely missed. RIP.
