Just had an awesome session at Oceans 1x8 and passed by Smile Spa on Balboa while heading to the 15. I recall several favorable reports on this place so stopped to check it out. Had to smile at the red hand painted sign pointing left "Chinese Body MASSAGE" and a more legible hand made sign for "THAI MASSAGE" pointing right.

Entered the door on left and met a thin older lady going by Coco and a less older thicker lady introduced herself as Helen. Both were busy but said to come back in 10 minutes.

Went to the Thai Massage on right and a short stout lady greeted me. Didn't bother to get her name but I can appreciate a legit Thai massage.

I go to the Thai place almost weekly. They are incredible. No extras or any hint of them, which is pretty typical of Thai massage places I think. At least in SD. But if you need a really good massage, Thai is the best and I'd say they've helped me more than my chiropractor has.

I went to the Chinese place once, probably a couple years back. I can't remember the girl's name but she was thin and gave me a BBJCIM and it was awesome. I've stuck my head in the door a couple times and all I see working are older heavier women so I haven't repeated.
