That leads some men to live secret lives, either being gay UTR or having a female beard with men on the side. Philly is 42% AA. Baltimore, also on the list, is 60%+ AA. Same goes for some of the southern cities on the top ten list and San Fran, well, probably more related to #1 above.

I have a theory as to why STDs are on the rise in general. It's because people today are getting married much later in life (or not at all) which gives rise to more frequent sexual partners. Also, with young people waking away from organized religion (due to widespread scandals) and the rise of apps like Tinder stds can spread rapidly among common folk who often don't get tested and seem to only have sex in the state of drunkenness. We are living in the era of the hookup culture.
