But if you have to contact them from a real number, then it's not so easy to effectively "change your identity" and pretend to be someone they've never seen or talked to before.



Just to add to this: I know Mandy WILL let you communicate with her from a burner number (if you prefer to do so for discretionary reasons or whatever) as long as you contact her once from a real number to establish the VOIP number you would like to use for future communications. I think I've heard that Destiny will do the same, though I can't confirm that for certain.

I understand what you are saying. It does make sense there are guy who will do that. But me I use a text free number cause someone Google my real number and find out my previous address and told me to come see her or she would come at my house and show a scene. But luckily my current address didn't show up. And now only that. Some girls be calling me at 3 am and to me that's unacceptable. So, I do think having this text free app save me alot. There are apps and websites that let you look up info on phone numbers, including carrier information. It's not any kind of mysterious voodoo magic.
