I remember the guy you're talking about. It was 2013 give or take. It wasn't this site but when he got busted he gave the police access to his P411 account with his password and they took down several top level ladies. His handle here was Hoss and for months after the bust went down he defended his actions even bragged about it. How he survived and the girls took the fall. I posted on here about him being a POS and he sent me some threatening PMs which I deleted as so much BS. I put nothing past LEO and recommend never underestimate them or the levels they will stoop to. After all it's their job to mess with criminals and in their eyes mongers are just another criminals.

Not always an urban myth, seem to remember a monger that got turned some time back, even gave up access to his profile on this site. And even hung around here a bit after it was found out. Cops just need to find the correct pressure to turn someone, we never know what will work on someone.

Trusted providers would often be on the hook and then they would turn and set up mongers to be arrested. LEO would use them I remember one that was trusted and was legit. But (shady) and she got caught herself by LEO. Then LEO allowed her to rope in mongers still.

You're right A2 - It used to be so hot here everyone was paranoid. I even saw a girl who said the guy before me was Metro. And metro took all her money and she was basically starting over from scratch with me.

It seems most stings happen just before federal " anti trafficking " funds are being allotted. It shows that there's an uptick in activities and puts Nashville in line for more federal funds. Additionally, prior to election season seems to be a good time to grab some headlines and some votes for law and order.
