I understand what you are saying. It does make sense there are guy who will do that. But me I use a text free number cause someone Google my real number and find out my previous address and told me to come see her or she would come at my house and show a scene. But luckily my current address didn't show up. And now only that. Some girls be calling me at 3 am and to me that's unacceptable. So, I do think having this text free app save me alot. I don't have to worry about who I text.

It's very simple. When we contact a provider (especially ones like Destiny or Mandy, who are the only ones that come to mind that require this), we know exactly who we're talking to. There's no games being played on their end. There's no advantage for them to pretend to be someone else. We don't need to know any of their personal information.

But a LOT of dudes contact these providers and just waste their time. Schedule appointments and then don't show up. Try to chat for hours and get them to send pics, or talk dirty, with no intention of ever booking. And some guys are just shitty clients who they don't want to see again. It's not hard to understand why they want to be able to keep track of who is contacting them. If they let guys use burner apps, which allow changing of numbers whenever you want, it's a lot harder for them to filter out the time-wasters and assholes. So it's not so much that they even want any of your personal info. But if you have to contact them from a real number, then it's not so easy to effectively "change your identity" and pretend to be someone they've never seen or talked to before.



Just to add to this: I know Mandy WILL let you communicate with her from a burner number (if you prefer to do so for discretionary reasons or whatever) as long as you contact her once from a real number to establish the VOIP number you would like to use for future communications. I think I've heard that Destiny will do the same, though I can't confirm that for certain.
