I don't remember any of the girls names but they were always fun. There was one sexy bartender there that sometimes flashed you her tits. I saw her dance only once.

We probably were there at the same time one time or another. I didn't have any special day I went. Saturday or Sunday afternoon were usually my times. I never saw the owner there that I remember. Saw his pic in his obit a few years ago. Did his son work there? I remember a younger guy that sort of looked like him. I also remember Mom the bartender. Not sure what her real name was. Good memories.

I don't know if Tony had any kids. Bartender was Jerry Lynn, she went over to Uptown after the Brass closed. Some of the dancers would tend bar if she had to go do something. I'm sure you saw me there. LOL I used to go every Wednesday. So many of those girls are gone or retired or married. Even Tony is gone, he died four years ago. John is gone, the tall skinny Angel who was an insurance agent, Nancy is gone, Sparky the steel worker is gone, Lola is married, Keisha works at one of the casinos. They really went after the place after that blonde girl who worked there briefly got murdered. Tore it down in 2000 as I recall after a fire in the old Casbah did structural damage. The Brazilians migrated around the corner to Uptown Girls for a few years until the owner died, then Tony tried to revive it but he didn't have dancers. Those were the best days, indeed. The street girls were very nice quality back then, no robbers or setups like today. They were druggies too, but clean, friendly, and good performers for a twenty. A lot of the dancers did that after their shift to make extra money.

That can be scary, but its worth bearing in mind that the girls have as much reason as we do not to take their club identities outside the club. I'm sure she would not want everyone at the restaurant to know about her past, even if her boss does know.

For those who are too young, or weren't around 20-30 years ago, the Brass was the first place I recall going to that had a back room. Everything went at the Brass, no rules, and no need for a back room back then when you could get a $5 HJ at the bar. Those were the days.

The one time I didn't have a few bucks for parking guy my car was stolen and the police wouldn't even show when I called on the (pay phone). Laughed when told them address and had to go to the station for police report!

Was in a local diner this morning with my wife and who should our waitress be, but a girl who used to dance at the old Brass Guitar. I recognized her immediately. Who could forget her big hair, bit tits and pretty face. I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw her, but there was no turning around. She waited on us and she gave me a quick look, but I don't think she remembered me. Most of the time when I saw her in the day, she was high or drunk. Once I knew she didn't remember me, I started breathing again. Actually, I was glad to see she turned her life around. Even if it was a waitress job, many of these girls don't end up in a good place. Truth be told, I don't know how old she is now (Guessing early 40's), I would still pay to have her dance for me. Oh how I miss the Brass.

Hi Everyone! I noticed that the last 3 or 4 times I've been at PM the girls are begging for $2 for the jukebox even with singles falling out of their purse. I find this to be highly annoying, anyone else running into this? Also they have put a sign up that said a two song limit in the back. The guy collecting money for the dances was even knocking on doors, telling the girls that they aren't in a hotel. The amount of girls can't be beat so I know that I will still go back but just wanted to share my experience. Also did Tanya gain a decent amount of weight? I kept missing her and finally saw her last time I was there but she didn't look as good as what I remembered.

I hear ya. Girls asking for jukebox money is annoying. So is asking for expensive drinks or tips for rubbing your back or even for just straight up walking up to you (the dreaded dollar train LOL). I've been subjected to all those no matter where I go and my evolved response is just to tell her to move along if I'm not interested in her for later. Once you start tipping you are a marked man and it will never end, especially with the lower end girls who don't get many dances.

The two song limit sign has been there forever. So have the two drink minimum signs. Disregarded both. Usually a knock on the door is just the next girl testing for an unoccupied room. I'f you know you'll need more time tip the door guy.

I enjoy the 10-20 minutes of grind. It makes for very little wasted time afterward.

I've noticed if it's busy the two song limit gets more aggressive. When slower not so much. If you're with a girl you know who likes you they will just shrug the knocking off anyway.

They do this at BC too, it goes back as far as Bert's Place and the old Oasis, which became Arnold's. The singles in their bag are their tip money from the chair dances at the bar. The jukebox is separate, each girl is responsible for her own music when she's on the stage. Refusing them just makes you look like a cheapskate. If it's a girl you don't care for, just head for the bathroom when the dancers switch places.

It is kind of an easy way for the girls to walk away from you so I don't mind it all that much. The guy collecting has become somewhat of a pain in the ass so I have been hitting Bishops mostly when in the area. If there is a two song limit, I probably won't even step in. Is this day, night or both? It has been a few months and I only visit daytime so haven't run into that yet.
