No it was an official message from the police from a police department number. I'm just trying to figure out if they can get me for that. Because I honestly didn't have any intention of meeting up I was just kinda fucking around and trying to find out stuff. I didn't agree to anything at all. I asked what donations are. They responded. They asked me to meet and I had never answered back because I wasn't interested.

That text is likely fake as LE doesn't work that way. They would contact you face to face, or perhaps call. Could be a BF got the girl's number and is trying to scare away mongers.

However, if you are spooked and IF you got the text message on the app number, then ditch the app number. After all that is the point of the app number.

Second, as I see reported elsewhere, if you don't take your phone into a date it is too costly to get warrants to try to connect a real person to a text number etc.
