I never agreed to anything and never went to the place. I don't even know which post they're referring to. That text is likely fake as LE doesn't work that way. They would contact you face to face, or perhaps call. Could be a BF got the girl's number and is trying to scare away mongers.

However, if you are spooked and IF you got the text message on the app number, then ditch the app number. After all that is the point of the app number.

Second, as I see reported elsewhere, if you don't take your phone into a date it is too costly to get warrants to try to connect a real person to a text number etc.
