Going to be coming back to Vegas for a convention pretty soon and I'm curious. Is it kosher to walk with a SW back to your hotel room? Also related, are there any spots near Mandalay Bay specifically?

I figure a SW would be cheaper than a CG but I could be wrong about that too.

I have done this a lot over the years. It is hard to generalize in Vegas, because everyone including the workers are from somewhere else and usually in town for a short time. I even have done this when I know tons of colleagues staying at the same hotel, LOL.

It is easiest during day or early evening, when they are not checking room keys to go upstairs. Split up from the girl and tell her to meet you at your room. It is harder late at night. I always save keys; give the girl a spare, not working key and walk seperate, meet up in the elevator.

That said, many times I have proposed this to SW's, they ask for more money. They will ask for "strip rates".

A couple years ago, had a penthouse suite comped to me when they ran out of regular suites. Lined up a date with an escort, bought champagne and bubble bath. Can we bring back SW! They are vanishing especially around the BH area. Last year around this time, I would drive down boulder & see about 7 girls. Now, I drive down boulder & theres only 1 or 2. Actually it's a CA loiter law. The LV law is a city law. The CA loiter law is essentially a catchall law that allows LE to bust you for whatever they believe is loitering. The loitering law is used mainly by vice in CA. The key is to only offer the SW a ride unless you know her.

The citations were probably for loitering. Los Angeles has the "Loitering with Intent to Solicit Prostitution" bullshit and I believe Las Vegas has it, too. Basically, if a cop "thinks" that you're thinking about engaging in prostitution, then that is now a crime. If you're a girl walking up and down the same street dressed like you work for Huggy Bear, it's kind of obvious. But, for you guys who hang out at Starbucks or Burger King, they will reel you in as well with this bullshit law. If a girl walks up to you while you're having lunch and makes you an offer and you in any way play along, you might get a citation. It's as bullshit as it gets.
