I don't know how this person found me I using a texting app not my real number. Long story short someone texted me with screen shots of my profile, my wife's Facebook, my Facebook and my LinkedIn demanding large amounts of money not to expose me. Not sure who it is. I've bought a little time before sending money and hoping to get ahold of the police tomorrow morning. Need to find a way out of this.

Hope this works out ok. Need to use caution fake name burner phone separate email fake profile pic use an actor you resemble and never let them get a plate number as I have parked blocks away to avoid that as well.

For what it is worth, I edited a photo flipping the image direction and that was enough to get past a google image search.

Flipping a pic is not enough. When I tin-eye or google image search, I search on the flip as well. Been doing it for years. Seen way too many flipped images in ad's not to.

I hope it is over for you. Valuable lesson I see from this is don't use any photos of yourself that are online someplace. Lots of guys on here talk about finding girl's real identities that way, so it stands to reason anyone could do the same search on us. Good luck!
