This is what I do as well. But usually I've noticed ones who are asking that kind of allowance are the GPS ones who are pretty demanding on arrangement payment. $5 k a month is out of the question for me, unless she is some kind of pin up model, absolutely gorgeous and freak behind closed doors and everything is on the menu but plenty of SB that fall into this for less in my experience.

I always do an initial, no charge MnG over coffee. Never big dinners or lunches. We confirm a mutual agreement to get together again. That usually maintains interest. Then say we'll start that allowance after a couple ppm meets to verify we're both comfortable. That works 50+% of the time. And over the years has yielded 4-6 regulars, some still in the rotation as ppm with an occasional donation for groceries.
