That's the idea, rooms are cheaper but you don't know the hotel until you book. However, check carefully the info they provide, most of the time is fairly easy to guess the hotel.

Be careful running plates in MA through the dealer system. There is definitely a record of who runs a plate. If anything comes of it, they better have a good reason for running it. I've seen it.

Auto insurance companies have access to the databases as well. It may be easier to make friends with someone in that industry that it would be to befriend a cop.

I provided info about a PI out of Indiana, I think. He will get you the info for under 50 dollars but you have to tell him you own a car impound lot and you are trying to find the owner of an impounded vehicle. I made up a yahoo email address to use something like Bob's towing at yahoo. All correspondence is through email. Google Buridge or burbridge private detective, all info is on his website. I had the info back within 24 hours.
