Unfortunately Hx does not have a user ability to disable messages. I stopped replying to PM's from dudes many years ago. I delete all their messages when I open my Inbox without reading the Spam that they sent me. This site is much more user friendly. I simply disabled my messaging system here which by default only allows Mods and Admin to PM you, and life is so much quieter, better, and drama-free.

Huh, you can block people form sending you pm mail on hx. But, you have to do it individually from each handle you don't want messages from.

There might be a few reasons why you aren't getting a response.

1) you are at a level 0 and mongers are not so trusting of a level 0 with no network.

3) the person you sent a PM to may not have PM mail privileges, you have too regularly buy PM points.

Definitely 1 and 3 for me. I normally only respond to level 1+. I tend to get a lot of "spam" from level 0's. It would be nice if some dudes actually provided info instead of always asking.

I don't always have PM mail. I only usually buy mail when I contact a new provider. Otherwise I already have the info for previous providers I've seen.

Actually I signed on and found my inbox full of replies by some cool, helpful bros to my requests for reviews, but these replies only represented 8-10 out of the 40 ish inquiries I sent.
