This is a new spa in Arlington. I saw their ad this morning but it's gone already. I think they want to stay UTR for awhile. It's the second time that I strike out trying to get in this little place in Ffx called River Spa. This time they even gave me some info, like that they have a shower and the price (60/80) but by the time I got there, they were too busy to see me and told me to try again in an hour. %.

I reckon it's probably the worst time, around 2:30 pm, because even Diamond Flash turned me down. I've gone out for Thai food very often too. It just so happens my favorite chefs are the same two who were mentioned by OldManInVirginia. My meals have primarily been at Restaurant de Tara, but I've also dined at KK's Kitchen.

But I've not enjoyed the same menu items as described by the original poster, Sexingit. I have had some very delicious appetizers, but I always end up with the standard "Northern Virginia special". (But with some very nice visuals on the side. After all, the presentation is an important part of the meal too).

However, if anyone has had more of an "all you can eat" buffet or a four course meal provided by either of these two local chefs, I'd love to hear about it. Receiving a PM from someone "in the know" would be great.

I'm wondering if I should keep holding out hope for a more filling meal? Or a special dessert? Yes, I know these kinds of dining experiences involve chemistry, and it's always a YMMV proposition. But I just would like to know if I should keep trying to land "the big one"?

I had the same experience last Thursday. The mamasan is the same old lady. Try to avoid her. She upsells and complains and it can get uncomfortable. The last time I was here, over a year ago, I ended up just leaving after the massage. These old Chinese ladies, most of them don't know how to negotiate. I always end up going limp and leaving. I've had many a dream about many an AMP and as previously mentioned we've all been in that situation where they get into the 69 position and you're more concerned about dining out then what's going on down south. It's a classic trick many providers do to initiate a faux BJ where they just place the tip of your junk on their mouth to "keep it moist" while their hands still do the majority of the work. To me a BBBJ doesn't count unless I physically see them bobbing for apples between my legs. And a BBBJCIM equivalent on a level worth posting about has happened only in 1% of my dreams. I have gone to Tara and KK pretty often, but haven't enjoyed quite what you get from your go-to. Lucky guy.

The grass is greener on the other side seems to be the case. I'm over here getting BBBJx2 for $ from my go-to Thai lady. Maybe only visit the ones that are associated to good Thai masseuse? Visited this place again after hearing about Kiki.
