I think part of the problem is that the actual risks are not well defined, or communicated. You can google and see that it's POSSIBLE to catch some things via BBBJ, but it doesn't actually give percentages, or risk profiles. I sort of assumed it was theoretically possible, though extraordinarily rare, after speaking to my doctor.

Anyway. I mongered occasionally before marriage and really enjoyed it. I stopped during marriage and relationships. Following marriage separation, I started doing it a lot more often. Once a week, sometimes more. After starting to date someone new, I continued. About 3 months ago, she complained about some issues. This time around, when I got the phone call, the lady on the phone said the test results came back positive for Gonorrhea (negative for everything else). I was in a state of disbelief when I received the news. Gonorrhea from a blowjob? Yes, I know it's possible, but I never imagined I'd catch it from getting a BBBJ. First off, when she got in the car we agreed to a specific act for a specific amount. After the sob story, she didn't even ask for any of the donation, the offer to give her half was my idea and it came without stipulation.
