Common problem for dope users is getting a bacterial infection called endocarditis. If caught early enough they receive antibiotics for 6-8 wks at a hospital than go to a out patient care facility. If endocarditis infection damages the heart valves, open heart surgery is required.

Many girls eventual die because they don't follow post surgery care and only focus on using drugs again.
