OK now everyone is showing their age if they remember the Tanga. LMAO.

That was when the causeway had a beach party every Friday and Saturday night. If you couldn't score there, it was off to the Tanga, then Charanns for a steak sandwich or Fuji for some steak!

The first time I visited the Tanga I ended up spending $$ dollars for the night. I thought that was a lot, now it would a great bargain. Tanga was a great club indeed. If any of you know of a current club even close to the level of the Tanga please advise.

Correct I was thinking Scarlett's and typed Charlotte's. The names were a play on gone with the wind. It was a Redner club.

Joe Redner had a great idea centered around that "Gone With The Wind" theme. It was one of the most palatial clubs in Tampa back in the day. Nice dinner / meals, cigars, and beautiful and willing entertainers!

Tanga Lounge and Scarlett's. Scarlett's, because I pretended that I was with the bachelor party that was in full blast one night, sweet-talked an entertainer into give me a semi-hand job, had take out with her and spent that whole night exploring carnal knowledge! Back in the naughty '90's!

Your memory is better than mine. The only Foxy's I remember is the one that became Allure in Pasco. OTOH, I do remember when Lipstixx was located on some back street south of MLK and the Class Act was located on Fletcher (before I guess it moved to the location that was Foxy's). Also, someone help me out with a brain fart. I'm trying to remember the names of the 2 clubs that were located in Rocky Point before they put in all the road construction. Interesting trip down memory lane.

The clubs in Tampa definitely aren't as good as they used to be decades ago but there are some great times to be had.

The biggest problem is how inconsistent they all are around the Bay area. I've been on days that I couldn't believe how unbelievable a time I have with hotter than usual girls willing to throw FS at me without even asking for a tip (I give them one anyway). I've left excited thinking I'm going to lose a lot of money over the next few months. Go back a couple of times the next week and regret walking in the place. I've been on a Tuesday and had an experience like the old days. Go back on Wednesday and can barely finish a beer before I want to run out of there.

The better ones run hot and cold like this, some of the not so great ones are more consistently bad. It's best to make a run & if it doesn't feel right head to the next. Lots of guys are constantly running between Oz & DD to see who's having a better day. We're out of season too so that has a large impact on the experience. A lot more action & girls January through March.

I do agree with your last statement. Actions bet better after the holidays. I do find that strange as I am used to things slowing where I am from, but whatever.

No.

Foxy's was where Chalotte's is now, next door to The Todd on Nebraska at Fletcher. Somebody was murdered in the parking lot a few months ago, really nice place! (By Nowatney).

Charlotte's is the only club that I do feel safe to go at night, but IMHO, it is more of relax and chill place (I would play pool there, but no tables).
