It probably happens a lot and I don't pay much attention to it or act suspicious when they are in their full uniforms and squad cars. They wouldn't be blazing their sirens and tearing up the parking lot if they were on a sting. I figured they would be in unmarked cars like staking out a suspect. A good practice is to go a little early, check out the premises and walk in to safe area and when everything is clear text the provider for the room number. It's worked pretty good especially with new providers.
