After further digging, the lady was charged not with public indecency, but loitering for prostitution and drug possession. She is currently awaiting trial in jail since she cant come up with the $3500 cash for bail. I guess her talents dont warrant her attorney paying that.

She isn't street smart, she should have hidden the drugs under the seat, then he would have taken the fall for that too.

This raises the question, isn't barter legal? I am sure she was just paying off attorney's fees. (That's being sarcastic)

Still not a good thing for anyone, especially a public defender. They can argue that they became involved after he defended her the first time.

I wonder if a public defender will represent him and what will happen in the aftermath? Since it's a misdemeanor!, probably nothing other than a fine.

New York lawmakers are introducing a bill that would broadly legalize sex work throughout the state. Together with the advocacy group known as "DecrimNY," legislators have crafted a 13 page bill that would make it legal to buy and sell sex under certain circumstances.

Supporters of the bill say 9 out of 10 made are at massage parlors, often illegal immigrant women from Asian countries.

As of now, Nevada is the only USA State to allow legal prostitution, which is permitted in some counties.
