For a situation of incall, what do you do if someone at the front desk asks you a question? I notice that a lot of CT places have a front desk before you enter a dream. Thank you in advance!

In my experience, they won't. I usually smile and nod at desk people as I walk by, just as I do when I'm travelling and returning to my own hotel. People check in and out at all times, during different shifts. The desk person doesn't know every guest in the inn. Also, people do visit people in hotels for legit reasons.
