I laughed that he could run and retire anywhere in the world. If he chose to come back, he could have cooperated and got a short sentence fast instead of delaying. If he got only 2 years he could have an early release.

I'm not sure why feds would be involved unless he was trafficking across state lines. More likely, they could not get the girls to testify or they were shaky witnesses so they didn't have enough to prosecute.
