Posts: 244Carleigh's a low energy provider with few standard menu options. She's cute enough, but if you are looking for more than mechanical, you may want to pass and look elsewhere. If mechanical is fine, then by all means, she's legit.

Anyone have any intel on Carleigh in Claymont? I'm usually stuck downstate but will be up in her neck of the woods later this week. Thanks and stay safe.

She's trouble with a capital T. As others have said, robbery and (poorly) attempted blackmail. As good as she was, not worth it.

I would run. She is nothing but trouble.
Robbed me and then tried to blackmail me.
For sure no go.
Glad she did not reach out to me But I think she knows not to bother.
Be safe out there.

Posts: 82Last handful of times she's popped back up, it's been nothing but trouble. The usual BF robbing people at knifepoint. I wouldn't bother.

There was discussion on an old BP review thread about Nicole. She reached out to me through BGFE and looking for a few regulars. New apartment, new phone, blah, blah, blah. I've had this happen before when an ex-boyfriend highjacked a profile. I thought I would check here to see if anyone else has heard from her.

For those who haven't met Stacey since she moved up to the Claymont area, she's advertising in Bear, and she says she now speaks Greek. Just saying.

Ya if they are not on Wifi it can be a problem, most know it and try hard to be connected and they do it because they can not afford to have unlimited data plan on the cell phone (it is not cheap to have).
There are a few apps most are available on android and iphone. Textfree and Textnow work very well for me, I like TextNow beter but that is my option.
My 2 cents.

« Unpaid Product Endorsement » I like TextFree (Pinger). It's available on Android, iOS, and any standard browser. It's ad-supported, but you can pay to remove ads and retain your number if that's something you care about. .

Posts: 222Yea, not saying it's a complete deal breaker, but kinda puts me on guard. And like the other previous post mentioned. If they are only working off of WiFi, then there's a good chance I'm going to have communication issues with them if when I try to reach out they aren't on WiFi. Sorry if I was coming off a little harsh, but I prefer to email text them instead of texting them directly from my phone. That way they don't have my number as well.
Maybe I should be looking into an alternate app to bring me up to speed with the game. Any suggestions on a free one for an iPhone that seems to work well?

Posts: 202I always follow my spidey sence but I don't assume that an app based number is a bad thing.

I use an app based number so they don't have my real number and a spam email that is only used for it.
This way I don't have explain emails call of texts.
My 2 cents.

I disagree that Web-app numbers are a significant red flag. I know many providers who use an app because it's easier to use on a computer and some don't even have cell service. Instead, they rely on wifi. It may be a factor in detecting fakes and scams, but I wouldn't put too much weight on it, just like I wouldn't put too much weight on someone with an out of state number.
True story, though unrelated to the hobby. I ordered a pizza the other day, and whilst I was waiting I got a call from a Puerto Rican number, so I ignored it. It rang again, so I picked up. It was the pizza dude. He was Hispanic, perhaps Puerto Rican, but I wouldn't have expected a local service provider (of pizza) to have a number from PR. Lesson learnt.

I'm guessing hoax, but I've been wrong before. My spider sense goes off when the number is web based instead of a cellular carrier.
Trying to line up some three way action.
