I don't know of them specifically as individuals. But, the "weed men" pretty much set up shop in that corner and the opposite corner (behind the cigarette machine). Basically, they pay off / become tight with the managers so when the "weed man / men" arrive those corners are cleared for him / them and the rest of the crew. Or, say someone not in the crew is already sitting there, or in a space that could be filled by a later arriving crewmember: they just act as if the non-affiliated patron (s) isn't there and just take adjacent seats and conduct business as usual. Sooner or later, the crowd, the smoke and the mass of dancers (who ignore the non-affiliated patrons) will make the patrons leave of their own volition, thus freeing up additional seats.

The corner locations act as kind of a known business address. I have on occasion when I just happened to have sat in one of those seats, been approached by multiple dancers seeking weed. Dancers love weed.

Posts: 296Follies. New group in "VIP" corner. Any intel?
I have noticed lately that the corner (on your left when you walk in over by the far left wall where the high chairs are) where the deep soft chair is there seems to be a set of regulars who "camp" out there during the day shift. Not only do they commandeer the soft chair but they grab a high back chair as well. One guy bought a few stacks of $ wrapped in bank wrappers the other day.
Where they congregate than becomes a sort of off limits VIP area (blunts are also in motion) and makes it a challenge to grab that area. No biggie but as those high back chairs are premium seats its kinda a pain.
Any Follies veterans know this crew or of them and their story?

They're closed. Right? I was wondering about Follies. Seems like one could dip into VIP after a few 10 er lap dances and not blow out their 401 k for personal attention. Just didn't know if my lily-white ass was going to make a record scratch off the jukebox as I walked in. .

Posts: 207Tips on first time to Follies?
I'm planning on heading down to Follies Sunday and maybe swinging back later in the week on Thursday. Any tips on best times to go? Afternoon or night time? Any particular day? I've read a lot of the posts about it, which is why I'm driving so far out of my way to go. I'm heading to Nashville from South Carolina and have read horrible things about their strip club scene. From the sounds of it, it's worth the hour and a half detour. If I go around 2 on Sunday, will it be packed?

Ignore the wannabe cool kids, they make folks like me not want to share. Those girls want money that's the inside scoop. Talk them down on the price if you feel as if you can. There's no magic bullet, remember its Follies and you're in control of you're money.

Posts: 139If money is NO object, you can get the floor manager (s) to clear out the "baller" area-- a velvet roped-off area with two perpendicularly positioned love seats immediately to the right as soon as you step in the club. The manager (s) will glad-hand you, "assign" a waitress to you immediately, and signal for dancers to come to the area. If money is no object, and no athlete, entertainer, or friend of management hasn't already claimed the space, you will be free to spend as much money on random dancers, waitresses and the club as you want to show your wealth.

Money talks there.
