The last time I came from the Ocala area to Orlando was to visit lovely Sabrina T. I thought it wise, upon arrival, to park at a nearby store with a large lot, and then take an Uber to Sabrina's incall location. Then get another Uber for the return trip. It seemed a bit safer, and I felt more comfortable. It was kind of like having a "burner car. " Anybody have any thoughts positively or negatively?

That your rideshare requests and destinations are easily obtained from uber / lyft or wherever.

Safer to pay cash for a taxi or just get dropped at a nearby restaurant and walk the short distance the rest of the way.

Taxis don't keep your card info in a database, especially if you pay cash.

That's what they do. If they want to talk to you then they'll follow you until you do something to give them a reason to pull you over. Try driving a few miles on a road without doing something to get pulled over. When I have a cop behind me I often find myself looking in the rear view mirror and not exactly driving in a straight line. I've been pulled over for the light above my license plate not working and "suspicion" of my tint being too dark. The cop on the video saying you should never talk to police, said that if they suspect you of something that they'll follow you until you give them a reason to pull you over. Everyone eventually will.

Well, sure, 'pretextual stops' are a staple manuever of every asshole cop. But I was wondering if they'd pull over a uber or lyft driver who had just picked up a fare from an AMP. That really seems like it's stretching things since it's not the driver they want to question, but the passenger. And, if it starts happening on a regular basis, I can sure see word spreading very quickly to uber and lyft drivers to not pick up anyone waiting near an AMP.

I have been actually doing this to message parlors. After the kraft deal it makes me feel alot better about the situation. Truth is if they get you in the act your car really doesn't matter to much but if the place is being investigated or watched, your name isn't tied to it at all.

Personally, I like the idea. I haven't done it yet, because the one disadvantage I can think of that it has is that if things gets crazy and you need to bug out fast, you can't.

Another disadvantage might be that you have an Uber trail, but burner accounts should cover that, I guess.
