I have no problem with A2's running of the site.

What I have a problem with is you telling people to shut up. That's what this site is about voicing their opinions.

I agree, A2 does do a great job, and I'm not finding fault with him. I do have an issue with certain policies of the site, however, its Jackson's site, or whoever bought it from him, and as such they have the right to run it however they want to. Also, some things are such political hot potatoes that no one wants to bring serious heat by hosting contrary opinions.

My comment about advertising and greed and so on, however, are I think true. Few things rise to the expectations generated by ads. Think hamburgers, cars, women, LOL. And, eventually Jackson and A2 will give up control of the site, either thru age, or retirement, or whatever. Eventually we'll be paying for access AND watching ads too.

Funny, I actually click on them on a regular basis. Seems a small price to "pay" for this site and I either get a chuckle or learn something like the FKK ads.

There is no relationship between advertising and credibility, except perhaps the more something is advertised the less likely it is to be what its touted to be, LOL. I wouldn't mind purchasing a subscription to the site, but 20 a month would be more than I think I would pay, 5 or maybe 10 a month. It all adds up. The ads on this site don't bother me at all. My only concern would be that the site would become like cable TV, you have to pay to get it but then all the non-premium channels are full of adds anyway, so in essence we are paying to watch the adds. It sucks. I don't think Jackson would do it, but greed eventually wins and so, sooner or later, even if this were a pay site, there would be adds.

Not crazy about the "Secret Benefits" pop up that starts every time I log in. But I will say as a side note, while all the girls they show are great, the one posing sideways wearing the denim with the open denim shirt is absolutely the shit. What that girl doesn't have she doesn't need. I don't know where they found her but boy if she was a provider I'd be broke in no time.

I'm curious, would you rather pay 20 bucks a month or close a pop under once a day?

I was talking about the girl not the annoyance of the pop up. Now that you ask though, probably the 20 bucks. Would give the site more credibility. However was talking about the model.

I don't see the connection between advertising and credibility. Unless you mean that the existence of paid subscriptions would do that. I tend to agree with that viewpoint.

I am just following the thread and agree that this conversation should probably be in the octagon, but my post would be out of context over there. It appears that most of these responses (to the MVD212 and FunLuver posts) are being aimed at MVD212, when, as it appeared to me after reading the thread several times over, the opposing comments were about the original post by FunLuver, not MVD? I'm not a science nut or a history geek, but just because a bunch of crazed serial killers had some sort of sexual dysfunction, does not necessarily, in any way, equate to everyone with a sexual dysfunction being a serial killer, LOL. If that were the case, without AMPs, 90% of guys over 60 would be widowed, single, and / or in prison, LOL.

I was the reason, don't tell guys not to post shit. If they think your apartment is in a sketchy place then they need to post that. If it is and it's costing you money then you need to fix that.

Telling then that it's not your fault who is walking around doesn't mean you aren't responsible for where you decide to run your business. If there are sketchy people walking around it's probably going to cost you business until you fix that.

I use Firefox with the Popup blocker ultimate ad on and it stops it every time.
