JohnnyFB, Here is how to copy a link to make the link actively work, and then format it so it will work as an active link. It is very easy to do, 4 easy steps (1 copy, 1 paste, then 2 quick inserts). When I literally write out the steps below, it looks kinda scary complicated though.

A. COPY the entire url link from the source website's Address Bar.

B. PASTE that link into the draft of the post that you are writing on this site.

C. Then insert the following characters/symbols, immediately BEFORE the link that you just pasted:
- type in: an OPEN square bracket symbol, which looks like this: [
- then type in: URL
- then type in: a CLOSED square bracket symbol, which looks like this: ]

D. Then insert the following characters/symbols, AFTER the link that you had just pasted:
- type in: an OPEN square bracket symbol, which looks like this: [
- then type in: /URL
- then type in: a CLOSED square bracket symbol, which looks like this: ]

A note about the format above:
- the only difference between steps C and D above, is that you MUST include the "forward slash" symbol / in step D
- you must use "square" brackets, do NOT use the squiggly brackets or parentheses)

I cannot literally write it out so it displays exactly how you do it, because this site's auto-format-and-edit features will not allow it to display, it would just make whatever I write turn into a link and hide the format that you have to use. So I had to describe into your post that you plan to make, and paste that link into the posting box that you enter text into.

IMPORTANT:
- If you simply hit Reply to a Post that already has a working url link, you can view the brackets and characters that have to be inserted before and after the link......then you can view it in a simple format.
- If you can't figure it out, then simply copy and paste the link you want someone to use, into your post......then, we users can simply copy/paste it into a url bar to make it work.

In your browser clink the link at the top (where your currently viewing) it expands to full location. Depending on what you are using click again to highlight and copy, then when making your post just paste it in. Make any sense?
